Okay so I've been out of the Gender Studies realm for a while now. I'm admittedly a little rusty on my post-modern feminist pop-culture dissecting. Please help me figure this one out:
What's this? No comments? I'm perplexed. I would have though this video would be a hotbed for discussions around the cyborg (her hair is made of telephones, for god's sake).
Or maybe some Foucault? Didn't he write something about prisoners being stripped of identity and made into a mass of uniformity? Surely she subverts this.
Or am I reading too much into what is merely a cracked out video?
